Akim of Aktobe region Yeraly Tugzhanov met today with representatives of the Turkish company OrhunMedical.
The guests were presented with investment opportunities in the healthcare sector of the region.
During the meeting, issues related to the implementation of an investment project for the construction of a multidisciplinary clinic OrhunMedical with a Center for Nuclear Medicine and Tomotherapy in Aktobe, as well as the opening of two Centers for positron emission tomography, as well as single photon emission computed tomography in the cities of Western Kazakhstan, were discussed.
Chairman of the Board of "OrhunMedical" Gonench Dyryk presented the project. The volume of investments will be 50 million dollars.
The production capacity of the Nuclear Medicine Center will be 12,000 SPECT/CT examinations per month, and 9,000 examinations will be carried out annually in Aktau and Atyrau.
“An important project, thanks to which residents of the Western region will be provided with highly qualified specialized medical care. We are ready to provide all possible assistance in its implementation. The personnel issue will be solved by the medical university, on the basis of which it is possible to deploy a base for training specialists," the regional akim emphasized, instructing the leaders to provide the necessary support to investors.
